Victor Esther’s work it’s usually subject to modifications determined by the place-space and moment when it is presented. His work does not follow a single medium; materials are used as needed with a wide range employed. The works are usually well defined by the manner in which they are approached and developed. They have an almost airtight quality. One could say that they begin and end in and of themselves. A work that requires a present audience, a sort of drive to get in the game; an open game to manyfold intensities.
He studied BA in Fine Arts from Castilla La Mancha University in Cuenca, UCLM. Currently living and working in New York. El trabajo de Victor Esther suele estar sujeto a modificaciones determinadas por el propio espacio y el momento de su instalación, no atienden a una única técnica pero tampoco entran en el rango de la técnica mixta, suelen ser piezas bien diferenciadas en su proceso de realización. De un carácter cuasi-hermético, podría decirse que empiezan y terminan en si mismas. Una obra que requiere de un espectador presente, de una cierta pulsion para entrar al juego, un juego abierto a multiples intensidades.
Licenciado en Bellas Artes por la Facultad de Bellas Artes de Cuenca UCLM. Actualmente reside y trabaja en Nueva York. Durante los últimos años su trabajo se ha presentado en The Gregory Allicar Museum of Art, Fort Collins. 印 (epepep), Zurich. Carriage Trade, New York. Instituto de Vision, Bogota.
